ABSTRACT

How do children organise and carry out media activities in their everyday lives? How do they use media for diff erent purposes in and across institutional frames? The study of children’s media practices as phenomena situated in and across diff erent settings in everyday life raises questions concerning conceptualisations of place, mobility and media. Equally important, it raises challenges and dilemmas when it comes to how to create data that broaden our understanding of children’s media usage in a changing media landscape.
