ABSTRACT
Chapter 12 presents an example of the analytical process. A case study of the city of Seattle housing market specifically examines and describes the relationships between crime reports and housing prices as well as house price changes and citizen sentiment. The case study is a detailed example of the process by which a complex analysis of real estate markets is done using a variety of data sources. The results are a by-product of the process, not necessarily scientific findings in and of themselves.
