ABSTRACT
Notwithstanding assertions of a promising job outlook for the field of school psychology and prognoses of a peaking need for school psychologists, obtaining a school psychologist position is an intimidating prospect. In this chapter, the job hunt process is distinguished from the internship application process and opportunities for graduating interns are explored. Both school-based positions and positions in alternative settings are explored, including post-doctoral and faculty positions.
