ABSTRACT

A brahmin, Atula, prepares to conduct a hone ritual. The brahmin is so afraid of him that he apologizes for finding an excuse to direct him to deal with Indrajitta and his officers. Angata arrests Indrajitta at the city gate as he assured he would and brings him back to the monkeys' camp. Dathagiri instructs his son to go to the battle field and kill the enemies. Dathagiri is impressed by his son's assurance and he looks forward to more success than before. Rama expects some information from Dathagiri's side. Rama expects Mahiravana to come in disguise and to use all his tricks. Lakkhana takes Thida in a carriage to the forest where she and Rama lived in exile before. Lakkhana leaves her in this camp and retraces his steps back to Ayodaya where he reports to Rama that it is the exact place where they lived before.
