ABSTRACT
In Vizianagaram district, 314,297 households have been registered in 31,238 Shram Shakti Sangam (SSS) groups with an enrolment of 590,956 wage seekers during the year 2010-11. During the financial year 2010-11, all the wage seekers and households registered under SSS had been provided wage employment, which amounts to 100 per cent. The district is maintaining the man and material ratio: it is almost 90:10 in place of 60:40. They are using only 10 per cent of fund in material.
