KING'S COLLEGE LECTURES. THE Ladies' Classes in connection with King's College

are going on prosperously; 600 students are at work, ranking socially from the daughters of the Duke of Argyle down to any who have had sufficient previous education to avail themselves of the benefits. The Pl~ncipal and professors have put a lady, one who is l1erself highly accomplished, in charge of the students; she is always on the spot during class hours, to be a. medium of communication between professors and students, or in case of sudden illness or other emergency can be within call.
