ABSTRACT
RUTH KARK: I'm going to talk first talk about periodization. We have several options for periodization, and also a series of questions that we can elaborate on later. One is the periodization of the conflict - or the shared history, if you like of Palestine during the years 1800 to 1918, and the parameters which should be used for creating such a periodization, which will assist us in discussing and analyzing the conflict.
