ABSTRACT
Having food as a point of departure, Cypriot visual artist Lia Lapithi develops a multifarious project evoking recent political history. The traumatic experience of the 1974 war in Cyprus is being unfolded in a multi-layer work that focuses on the way history is being written, experienced, and transmitted via the culinary culture.
