ABSTRACT
The Federal Republic of Somalia is a country located in the Horn of Africa. It is a nation that shares its boundaries with Ethiopia in the west, Djibouti in the northwest, the Gulf of Aden in the north, the Indian Ocean in the east and Kenya in the southwest. Somalia is most famous for its coastline, geographically the longest on the South African mainland. Somalia has a population of around 10 million, with most being followers of the religion of Islam. The official languages of Somalia are Somali and Arabic.
