Public procurement as social regulation: Approaches in the US and EU

The EDF is an independent non-governmental organisation that represents the interests of Europeans with disabilities, and has long advocated for the use of public procurement policies as a means for achieving accessible ICT in the EU (European Disability Forum 2004, 2014). The EDF has also promoted WCAG as an approach to ensuring accessible web content.
