Similarly, if all individuals are not recognised as full persons before the law, the principles of democracy and of equality are violated. Therefore, the expenditure of resources on the full realisation of the civil right of every citizen to be recognised as a person before the law and to be able to exercise their legal agency is by no means a mere disability service. It is an integral component of our legal and political structures.
