ABSTRACT
This chapter considers electronic music technologies and specifically analog electronic music technologies in the context of various historical conceptual trajectories, we can observe many seemingly diverse events, thick with living puzzles and queries, rich with historical connections. In the present, electronic music and analog electronic music are more actively practiced and performed than ever before. The twisting and turning historical path of analog electronic music ideas and foundations are more clearly understood and embraced now with the benefits of the new technologies and networking capabilities. The Moment Form is a way of giving attention to, and focusing on, complex sound forms created by analog electronic and acoustic instruments. Analog electronic music is an idea, long imaginable and now manifest and variably mutable in new forms. Sound recording technologies are historically victims to the notion of the obsolete.
