ABSTRACT

I know a lot about the past. I know, for instance, that the Chicago White Sox won the 2005 baseball World Series. I remember that’s true. I don’t remember the event. I was in Australia, and it wasn’t on television. I don’t even remember the event of learning that the White Sox won. But I remember that they won. And to remember something is to, inter alia , know it is true. And to know something is to, inter alia , have a rational belief that it is true.
