Instead, what matters are factors such as being part of an apparatus of international
clients, enjoying Western work environments and having opportunities to meet
foreign colleagues. These, in turn, impact the demand for such jobs in India and
lawyers’ willingness to see them as part of the opportunities available to legal
professionals.
