ABSTRACT

On the positive side, the new system will change the way in which junior lawyers

are hired. Instead of employing recently qualified lawyers law firms will hire students

on the master’s courses; in this way companies can begin training their employees

during this time and, of course, trying them out as prospective lawyers. This will be

a positive outcome for the whole system, as law firms will have an interest in actively

promoting high quality master’s degrees. In fact, in addition to the interaction

between bars and universities, law firms are also expected to become increasingly

involved in law faculty affairs.
