ABSTRACT
The establishment of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank received wide attention from the world. This chapter introduces the background consideration of the Chinese government regarding the reasons, motives and process. It also analyses the role of AIIB in the global financial cooperation and introduces the corporate governance and principles of the bank with great detail.
