ABSTRACT
The provision of healthcare holds inherent risk: the right patient needs to get the right treatment at the right time, and any deviations from this might result in serious consequences. But does “right” have the same meaning for patients, nurses, doctors, healthcare managers, and government? And how do their different approaches to risk intersect in healthcare settings? In this chapter we address these questions.
