States has become especially visible in recent decades and, on the other, it is riddled with tensions due to its variegated composition, thus constituting a good arena to observe this phenomenon. At the same time, Spanish-language newspapers are an ideal means to explore the possibility of intercultural dialogue in this community at several levels, as they are still the medium used by many Latinos to talk and learn about their own community.
