ABSTRACT
Scientific inquiry of virtually every kind must take into account the research that has been done by others in order to guide new venues and avenues of investigation. This was certainly the case when the decision was reached to undertake a rescue archaeological project at ‘Ain Ghazal located to the northeast of Amman along the Amman-Zarqa highway.
