ABSTRACT

The former Soviet Union has entered a period of decisive changes. The problems that exist today have been created by people and will have to be solved by people. Professional management education will have to play a major role in assuring the success of the transition to a market economy. Whereas the radical changes taking place in former Soviet political and economic management are comparatively well known to a great many American readers, the changes that are taking place in the structure and content of management education are not so well known, even to a narrow range of specialists.
