ABSTRACT
Rural labor migration and income distribution are two issues urgently in need of appropriate policies in China. The two issues are mutually interactive and determinative, each playing reciprocally the roles of cause and effect. This chapter attempts an empirical analysis of the interactive relations between the two, with the emphasis on the effects of rural-urban labor migration on income distribution in rural China.
