ABSTRACT
This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the key concepts discussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The book focuses on international sport volunteering. It presents a number of experiences and perspectives of international sport volunteering. The book also presents a range of different conceptual and methodological approach to shows the range of potential and future research development in this field of study. It outline examples domestically, but there is still an international influence. Moreover, the perspectives suggest a framework for future research that can be applied to current and ongoing internationally focused sport volunteering research. There are topics that are still 'open' to extend the narrative of research in this area. People must also work towards informing policies that are inclusive and establish valuable legacies in the very places where sport volunteering and international sport volunteering is most likely to play an important role.
