ABSTRACT

In her second year as a career counselor at Grandbard College, Kate is excited to start a new year. She is the newest career counselor on staff and spent last year developing great relationships with students as they explored their post-graduation options. Students liked her because she was friendly and went out of her way to help them. Kate is also really happy to be at Grandbard. It is an elite liberal arts college with approximately 2,000 students. Known nationally for its rigorous academic curriculum, about 70" of its alumni pursue graduate studies. Kate realizes that Elizabeth has listed every single high school she has ever attended. Her resume showed seven high schools located in different cities. Elizabeth struggled with her anxiety. Even though she made a few casual friends, she felt lonely and isolated. Elizabeth remembered from Orientation that the Counseling Center could help students with a multitude of issues.
