ABSTRACT

This case study explores a ‘woman only’ project in Worcester, UK. The project works with a diverse range of women, including those with disabilities, differing sexualities and a range of ethnic/religious backgrounds. The aim of the project is to promote confidence and power through knowledge and skill development. These outcomes are delivered through a service delivery model of classes (cooking, arts and crafts) and the provision of drop-ins.
