ABSTRACT
All Maud Marian cares about is her art, and she has her heart set on another winter in Rome where she can resume her lessons and trips to art galleries. Her careless playing after dinner of an air from a new opera she heard in Rome suggests that Maud’s fascination is with the city’s art, not its music.
