[Byron] Beppo, 4th edition (1818); Eclectic Review, 2nd Series, IX (June 1818), 555–557. That the Eclectic reviewed the fourth edition shows that the vogue of Beppo forced them to notice it; but they remain ignorant of Byron’s authorship.
