Coleridge, Sibylline Leaves (1817); review by George Croly, Literary Gazette, July 26, 1817, pp. 49–51. The reviewer is wrong in believing that Coleridge’s “Fire, Famine, and Slaughter!” had not been published earlier; it had first appeared in the Morning Post, January 8, 1798, and had been frequently reprinted by enemies of Pitt (and Coleridge).
