ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses how the configurations of low quality, design factors, and price influence customer purchase intention on products with short lifecycles, using the example of the fast fashion industry.

This chapter provides insights into the link between customers’ purchase intention and product quality.

It identifies that a product’s price and design both play an important role in a customer’s acceptance of low-quality products, so enterprises can still convince customers to buy low-quality products by setting an appropriate price and design.

For this reason, this chapter has significance for fast-fashion enterprises and electronic industries, and any others that rely on frequent product updates and replacements.
