On the Margins: Therapeutic Massage, Physical Education and Physical Therapy Defining a Profession

Kinesiology Today as a Support for Physical Therapy We have more than 1200 students in our undergraduate programme in Kinesiology at CSU, Long Beach. Our neighbour campuses – CSU Fullerton and CSU Northridge – have close to 2700 students combined. So at three campuses, located within a one-hour drive of one another, we have approximately 4000 students majoring in Kinesiology. The vast majority of them have the intent of entering a graduate programme in Physical Therapy. They are facing a lot of competition!
