ABSTRACT
Dee dee's experience chimes with the heart of the Christian theology. It is striking how high a view the New Testament has both of the most humble of individual believers and of the most humble local communities of faith. Dee deeps individual story embodies why growing Christian churches is good. And her story finds echoes in the lives of many individuals both now and in past centuries, both in the west and across the globe. The Christian faith holds that the good news of Jesus, whilst it has to be received as an individual, can be received only in a community.
