The McGraw-Hill research goes on to suggest that an increasing percentage of architects, engineers and contractors will see the majority of their work as green in the coming years. Construction 2025, launched in 2013 by the then Business Minister Michael Fallon, set out ambitious targets in four key measurable areas which included a 50 per cent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in the built environment.
