When architects talk about sacred space, it might be about the holy sites they’ve visited, or the sanctuaries they’ve designed, or the experiences they’ve had of secular buildings that seem, somehow, to slow time, capture eternity, or partake of nature’s intricacy, vastness, perfection, and majesty.
