ABSTRACT

Corporate behavior is an important issue for business sustainability, not only for the entity itself, but also because organizations are corporate citizens and potentially their activities have an impact on other stakeholders. As corporate citizens their decisions and activities also impact ultimately on the wider community which, in effect, grants companies a social license to operate. Sustainable business is about ensuring that entities contribute toward positive social, environmental, and economic outcomes. Corporate sustainability is closely related to business behavior, corporate governance and sustainable market structures.
