ABSTRACT
Civility, Respect, and Engagement in the Workplace (CREW) is a process for improving the level of civility among members of workgroups. Elsewhere in this volume, Osatuke et al. (Chapter 9) describe the development of CREW within the Veterans Health Administration. That chapter also describes the CREW process in detail. This chapter reflects upon the qualities of CREW that contribute to its effectiveness as an organizational intervention.
