ABSTRACT
We have to note the existing standoff between the US, NATO, EU on one side and Russia, on the other. Moreover, the fact that all sides acknowledge that we are at the lowest level in bilateral relations now since the fall of the Berlin Wall is vivid proof that the analysis of where this trend is going is of primary importance. And not only where this trend leads us, but also what gestures and policies that were developed are to blame for this evolution, and what is the reason that has produced this escalation.
