ABSTRACT
The contemporary world displays arrays reaching a high level of unpredictability, a violent reshaping of borders, from predicaments to havoc, while witnessing no limpid ends to war. Inherited convulsions or apparently contingent ebullitions are widespread on the globe, but not surprisingly they define the post-Soviet space above all, where the so-called ‘frozenness’ of contentions are more striking. A brief inward-looking analysis is referring to the paradigms addressing the sophisticated spirals of deep-rooted rationales within the historical clashes, attributed to various nations before and after the Soviet era, encompassing them into the broader family of identity conflicts.
