Greek immigrants to Canada and North America, which have tended to form strong ethnic communities in and around major metropolitan areas. The Female Immigrant Entrepreneurs (FIE) local and ethnic communities remained loyal customers through the years and not one business reported having to liquidate or close down. The chapter highlights the complexity of the FIE experience and the importance of synergy between the host country's immigration policies and the immigrant's entrepreneurial drive-a synergy that will facilitate the economic and social integration of FIEs and their families. The final section focuses on the overall personal perception the women had formed about their lives as FIEs in Canada.
