ABSTRACT

In the books I have edited and written over the years, I have tried to get people to write about international projects, or write about them myself (Turner, 2009, first edition 1993; Turner, 1995). People have always said that international projects are different from those conducted in our home contexts. But when I or others have tried to write about the nature of those differences the results have been disappointing. However, with globalization, the nature of international projects has become more diverse.
