ABSTRACT
This book complements existing work on vulnerability, conducted at a national level, by examining the household impacts and responses to recent shocks in the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. A core finding of the book provides credence to the assertion that these countries are among the most vulnerable in the world. Households report experiencing frequent shocks and an inability to cope with their impacts.
