ABSTRACT
Currently a handful of women architects and their designs attract worldwide attention—from Zaha Hadid’s cultural edifices and sports arenas to Jean Gang’s spectacular high-rise designs for the Chicago skyline. Whereas the media lavishes attention upon the few at the top, as a group, “women architects” present something of an uneasy conundrum.
