ABSTRACT
The conclusion returns to the idea of duty, introduced in a previous chapter in the book, to suggest that two facets of duty are relevant when thinking about human rights museums: the duty to protect and the duty to do justice. Linking these related concepts to two examples in the museum world – one in Japan, the other Colombia – bookends the chronological discussion of human rights museums undertaken in this monograph.
