ABSTRACT

The author hopes that day is coming. And becoming Travolta wasn't so bad. It's amazing how the roles people didn't want can make them richer sometimes. It suspects that the masculinising of fat girls, ugly girls, and gay girls can have a fabulous side effect. The chapter practices that part where Travolta falls to his knees in front of Olivia Newton John over and over. John Travolta and the woman he will dump have sex in the back seat of a car. It was her own fault and my mother wanted me to take a lesson. The author and his friends loved the music from Saturday Night Fever. The Bee Gees were dreamy and the Gibb brothers were the hotness of the day. Becoming Travolta, as the author did, wasn't an entirely raw deal. The author was the leading man, after all. His other two friends only understudied Olivia Newton John.
