ABSTRACT

The PREZISTA Zone by Janssen Therapeutics—a division of Johnson and Johnson—includes a series of animations that tell the story of Jacob, a young man who has just been diagnosed with a “chronic disease” (that is, HIV infection). Jacob’s story is told through a series of seven animated clips that help illustrate and explain sections of the Patient Information sheet that accompanies the prescription medicine PREZISTA® (darunavir), which is used in the treatment of HIV. According to Janssen, this program is designed to “transform the experience of exploring this information online through digital storytelling and animation.” 1
