ABSTRACT

The intelligence history of the Korean War has yet to be captured in one cohesive account. Considering all the sources of information, personalities, and analytical interpretations that contributed to the belligerents’ intelligence assessments at pivotal points in the conflict, the task is daunting. Any attempt to recount the intelligence story of the Korean War as it evolved requires command of a vast array of source materials in myriad belligerent archives scattered worldwide.
