ABSTRACT
This chapter aims to outline in brief the development in Christian anthropology of what has been termed an ‘ecclesial’ and ‘narratival’ view of the doctrine of the imago Dei. Through this my contribution to the volume will above all be of an ecumenical nature. My study aims to demonstrate how Catholics and reformed Christians in particular may move forward in a constructive dialogue about how we understand the human person in the context of Christian faith.
