ABSTRACT
Those of us in the field of Child Protection are only too aware that one of the many presenting problems now, certainly amongst social work cases, is that of children that are being perceived as possessed by spirits. As a practitioner, a specialist social worker and an expert witness, I am interested in what social workers do, or should do when they are confronted with these presenting phenomena. So I have produced a case study to take you through what happened, what should happen and what we should do when we are faced with these given phenomena.
