You never get a second chance to make a first impression. But in 1989 when SmithKline Beckman merged with Beecham Laboratories, we were able to overturn that old saying. Little did we know that ten years later we would put into practice what we'd started to learn in 1989. History may not always repeat itself, but I think it's a great teacher. The trick is discovering exactly what lessons you need to learn.
