ABSTRACT
The hottest economic topic in China these days is capital markets. People are intensely interested in the subject, from the highest level of the country’s leadership to the lowest tiers of society and from highly knowledgeable economists to the common man with a modest level of education. Not only are they concerned about the direction the markets might take, but they have their own opinions about the markets themselves, their benefits, drawbacks, pros and cons.
