ABSTRACT
It’s my firm belief, backed by countless examples, that ordinary citizens, with no professional training or background in advocacy skills, can conduct multi-year campaigns to create change on the local level. I also believe that that social work students and professionals can overcome great barriers to achieving social justice. As educators, we in CSWE-accredited institutions must ensure our students are competent in advocacy. These articles help us in our work and assist us in standing strong for social justice causes.
