Teaching for Good Work, Teaching as Good Work

When we describe work as “good”, we might mean this in a number of different ways. We might say someone has done a “good job” when they have done a specific piece of work well—a mechanic who has repaired a car in a skillful way, or a reporter who has quoted all interviewees accurately. Equally, we might talk about a philanthropist or a charity doing “good work”, doing something socially valuable.
